Results
In production, a single operator now processes more than 2,000 POD documents per day — roughly seven times the manual throughput — and the workflow that previously consumed 20+ hours of operator time each week now completes in minutes. Manpower on the POD desk dropped by approximately 90%, and error rates fell to near zero because file names are derived from the scanned barcodes and printed data rather than typed by hand. The software eliminated a critical bottleneck in courier POD processing and was distributed as freeware for both commercial and personal use across Windows XP through current 64-bit editions, plus Linux/Wine.
